- 2 cups of milk.
- ½ cup of white sugar.
- 3 tbsps of cornstarch.
- ¼ tsp of salt.
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract.
- 1 tbsp of butter.
- Heat the milk over medium heat in a medium saucepan until bubble form at the edges.
In a bowl, mix together the sugar, cornstarch and salt then add gradually to the milk while stirring constantly until the cream thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.
Turn off the heat and mix in the vanilla and butter.
Pour into serving dishes and let chill before serving.
