Easy Homemade Divinity Candy

Welcome again to “5minutesrecipes” the home of meal receipts & list of dishes, Today i will guide you how to make “Easy Homemade Divinity Candy”. I made this Delicious recipe a few days ago, and I absolutely loved it and enjoyed it with my family. It came out very tasty and flavorful.
Before post it here i send via Our Pinterest Account the full recipe to some of our great followers to try it and this was their opinions :

  • "Amy" : Divty is so god I jus had some that stuf and I feel gret it it it it it makes you fel rly hyper an real good it super flufi and somtmes hrd but it fels rl god in ur moth when you et it. You jus hav to mak it riht for it tu be gud
  • "Belle" : Just finished making this recipe, followed it exactly, except I only added one grind of salt. It's really important to have everything ready to go before you start. If it seems like all that is happening is that you've made marshmallow fluff, you need to keep mixing. It took me a good 8 minutes in a stand mixer, and I iced the bottom of the bowl twice to help it cool down.
  • "Virgil" : Great recipe, only I added black walnuts like my grandmother did. Fifty+ years ago we shelled our own black walnuts which to me were far superior to ones bought shelled. Not sure where to get black walnuts since I no like ne'er have access to my own tree.
  • "Julianne" : Turned out perfect!! Everyone raved about how good these little morsels were. For the vanilla I used Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla. Ohhh myyy! Can I just say that it brought the flavor up about 10 notches?! As far as the mixing time, I used my Kitchen Aid and it took about 8 or 9 minutes (on a level 8!). I thought it was taking forever so I put a few ice cubes in my hand and rubbed the bottom of the bowl (I noticed it was super hot from the syrup) while it was mixing and the divinity started coming together a lot faster. Within a minute or two it was starting to set up and I was able to go on to the next step.
  • "meribor" : Easy and delicious. I followed another reviewer's suggestion to dip the spoon in cold water while scooping it onto the wax paper to prevent sticking. My friend who doesn't like sweets couldn't get enough.
  • "Melanie" : I Have tried making divinity for years and it never worked! This did, and I used a Kitchen Aide mixer too, and didn't take too long at all and turned out perfect. Only thing I'd advice is get that waxed paper out before, because it begins to dry out. Also use a heavy saucepan. And don't use the packaged egg whites supposedly for meringues and such. Powder was terrible and changed to the regular egg whites.
