1 (14 ounce) package sweetened coconut flakes or 5 1/3 cups2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- Combine coconut flakes, vanilla extract and condensed milk in a large bowl. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Use either an ice cream scoop or your hands to make these into balls and flatten on cookie sheet. I squeeze them into balls with my hands and then flatten on sheet. This makes them hold together. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are browned. Remove from baking sheet immediately when you take them out of the oven and let cool. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen macaroons. Enjoy!
